Q: How can I obtain a copy of the financials of Heritage Parks?
A: Financial statements are available at the quarterly homeowner's meetings. This statement will outline all of the income and expenses of the Association for that previous quarter.
Q: Can I arrange to have my bank account drafted for payment of the quarterly dues?
A: Yes. Simply send an e-mail to billing@heritageparksabilene.com with your request and we can send you a form to complete to get started.
Q: I want to build a home in Heritage Parks. What do I need to know beforehand?
A: You will first need to read the bylaws as well as the Covenants and Restrictions. These documents can be found on this website and will outline things you will need to consider such as requirements for square footage , materials, landscaping, etc.
Q: I am currently only renting a home in Heritage Parks. What do I need to know about my responsibilities in a homeowners association?
A: You will need to familiarize yourself with the Covenants and Restrictions which can be found on this website. As a resident of Heritage Parks, you will need to maintain your property in the same manner as our homeowners. Any fines assessed against the property you are renting will be charged to the actual property owner and, in all probability, that charge will be passed on to you in some way.
Q: Can I get my statements and newsletter e-mailed to me?
A: Yes. Just let us know your e-mail address. Send an e-mail to hpha@heritageparksabilene.com.
Q: Have you ever considered adding a playground or swimming pool for the residents of the neighborhood?
A: This has been discussed in the past. However, the initial expense of either of these projects as well as the cost of maintenance would be cost prohibitive. Our dues would have to be increased a great deal to pay for them. The cost of liability insurance would have to be added into the monthly dues also.
Q: Is "The Enclave" a part of Heritage Parks?
A: Yes. It was developed with its own entry sign, a fence enclosing the area, and landscaping. It falls under the covenants and restrictions of Heritage Parks; however, it also has additional restrictions unique to this area.
Q: Who do I ask if I have a question that is not included on this page?
A: Homeowners are always welcomed and encouraged to come to our quarterly meetings. Here we discuss many different issues involving our association and neighborhood. Or, you can e-mail our president at: president@heritageparksabilene.com.
